She has a global reputation as a dynamic, inspiring, and influential presenter, consultant, and coach. Instar's techniques & curricula are firmly grounded in Cognitive Science. She and her team consult with executives around the world including China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, India, Canada, and the Netherlands. Prior to founding Instar, Cathy dedicated 15 years to Gordon Graham & Co., Inc. leading and developing curricula for businesses and prisons. She coached basketball for 20 years, coaching at each of her 3 Alma Maters in Washington State. She was best known for her nationally renowned AAU teams, developing some of the women's basketball greats.
She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Whitman College; and an M.Ed. from Western Washington University.
