Elizabeth Scott Glenn - Activist, Educator, Govt/Nonprofit Professional
Ep. 176 - Elizabeth Scott Glenn has traveled the world working on housing issues, from Ecuador and Turkey to South Africa and Australia. She retired as the deputy director of the Baltimore County Department of Planning to make an impact on the world. She is currently the Chair of the US Africa Collaborative. Her international credentials include being a member of the US State Department’s official delegation to Habitat 3 held in Quito, Ecuador, in and to Habitat 2 held in Istanbul, Turkey in 1996. She was appointed by the United Nations as a Policy Expert on Urban Services and Technology as part of the preparation of the New Urban Agenda that was approved by the UN General Assembly in September 2016. She is a member of the Board of Governors for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials and has chaired the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Advisory Committee since 2017. Since 2007, she has served on NAHRO’s International Research and Global Exchange Committee. She recently accepted an appointment as Chair of the African Housing Professionals Forum in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She serves as the US Advisor for the Nigeria UK Society for Housing Professionals She was appointed by the Governor of Maryland and is finishing up her 3rd four-year term as a Trustee of the Maryland Affordable Housing Trust. She was awarded the prestigious John D. Lange Award for Excellence in International Housing and Community Development by the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).
Ellen Walsh - Educator, Govt/Nonprofit Professional
Ep. 52 - Ellen Walsh, a Retired Professor of languages, pursued her undergrad and graduate degrees in the romance languages after her childhood experiences living in Honolulu, Japan, and Iran. She completed her doctoral studies in Spanish at George Washington University and went on to become a professor of the romance languages at GWU. The Influence of a woman mentor worked to redirect her work from academia to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) where she spent 33 years teaching foreign languages to DoD personnel often as a matter of "life and death" given their work abroad.

Ep. 187 - Candace Keith is a certified spiritual coach. She has a unique perspective because she is a former preacher’s wife and First Lady of Ministry. Her mission is to shine the light on Church Hurt involving damage and trauma. She blends spiritual disciplines with unique strategies to empower First Ladies of Ministries who have experienced "Church Hurt’ so they can find their voice, reconnect to inner peace and change the narrative for themselves and other spiritual women by designing a blueprint for success, legacy, and wealth. Candace is a certified spiritual coach. She has a unique perspective because she is a former preacher’s wife and First Lady of Ministry. Her mission is to shine the light on Church Hurt involving damage and trauma. She retired from a 26-year airline career as a customer service agent/instructor. Candace is a moderator for Clubhouse.

Ep. 149 - Purdue University is one of the world's Most renowned institutions of higher ed and a leader in the golbal marketplace for agricultural science and instruction with a long history of recruiting and admitting multicultural students from around the world, but a very short history of being intentional in its staff and faculty policies and practices to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the workforce. Dr. Morris entered this agricultural bastion of white male dominance determined to bring about change-from -within, and so she did! Pamala was the first Black woman to achieve tenure and full professor status in a Big Ten school of agriculture.
Chantal Munanayire - Activist, Educator, Entrepreneur
Ep. 192 - Chantal Munanayire is a successful Rwandan entrepreneur with a charitable heart. In 2009, Chantal became the first female owner of a car body repair and paint shop (or “garage” as it is called in Rwanda) in the capital city of Kigali. She later went on to be elected as the first female President of the Rwandan Garage Association from 2011 to 2016. Chantal graduated from the Peace Through Business® (PTB) entrepreneurship training program in 2014 and was named the "Enterprising Woman of the Year" by Enterprising Women Magazine, based in New York. From 2016 to 2018, Chantal served as an executive on the board of directors of the Gasabo Investment Company, and team member of the Finance Committee. In 2017 Chantal was elected Chairperson of the Rwandan Chamber of Creative Art & Crafts which leads 10 different associations within the Private Sector Federation (PSF), alongside these duties she also currently serves as a board member of PSF and a team member of the Operations Committee. Chantal was one of three women in Rwanda awarded the "Women of Courage" award by the U.S. Embassy in Rwanda.

Ep. 197 - A dynamic dynamo, Tiara Tucker burst onto the entrepreneur scene with Tiara PR Network while maintaining a full-time job! She has worked with some of the biggest names in social justice. She has started her own YouTube channel, Speak Their Stories. You have to meet this game-changing woman! Tiara M Tucker is an Empowerment Connector who wears many hats like the Founder & Owner of Tiara PR Network, a social impact communications PR firm, and the President of Speak That! Movement, a non-profit organization. In addition, Tiara passionately leads her charitable non-profit organization, Speak That! Movement, which is on a mission to equip and empower professional women in business along their journeys of dream and goal realization. Tiara is also the creator, host, and executive producer of Speak That! Talks. Tiara was featured in Black Enterprise as one of "10 Amazing Black Women Making Moves Right Now." This same year, she was honored as a "40 Under 40" by the Dallas Public Relations Society of America and as a Junior League of Collin County Women of Influence Award nominee.
